The price includes accommodation and Italian buffet breakfast, with “Self Service”. For other types of breakfast (by prior arrangement) there is a small supplement. Vegetarians, Celiacs or Vegans are welcome but we must know your needs before arrival.
A deposit may be required to confirm your booking during high season by bank transfer, credit or debit card. This deposit is charged upon booking confirmation. Payment of the full amount is required upon arrival. All email bookings are confirmed by email.
By making your booking, our agreement is a legal contract and you agree to our terms and conditions. Should your travel arrangements change, you should inform us as soon as possible to allow us to re-assign the room(s).
A Cancellation Policy is applied to all reservations, based on the chosen or agreed rate, the guest can view these policies in the relevant section of this document or by contacting us.
If you have to cancel your booking due to inclement weather or exceptional family circumstances, we are happy to transfer your booking to another date if possible should this be acceptable.
Payment must be made upon arrival by cash, credit or debit card or bank transfer. All credit card transactions are secure and no collected data is offered to third parties for any reason. The security of credit card payments is guaranteed by VBV (Verified by VISA) and SCM (Security Code Mastercard) certification. The following circuits are accepted: VISA, VPay, Masterdcard, Maestro, American Express, ApplePay, AndroidPay and Contactless Cards. All transactions are accompanied by the relative tax receipt according to the laws in force. Online payments are managed by PayPal, the cost of the service is charged to the guest who makes the reservation. The currency exchanges are updated once a day, the payment managed by PayPal with related PayPal service costs and currency exchange fees are charged to the guest.
The cancellation of the reservation must be sent in writing or through your account, the b&b Magna Grecia reserves the right to apply a penalty as per the Cancellation Policy indicated below:
Standard: If you cancel this reservation less than 15 days in advance, you will be subject to a penalty equal to 50% of the reservation, the total amount of the reservation will be charged 15 days before check-in;
Non-Refundable: The reservation is non-cancellable and the full amount must be paid. The amount will be charged on the day of confirmation;
No Show: the total amount of the stay will be charged, but the room will be kept available until 10:00 of the day following the first night, in case the guest arrives for any nights following. In case of no contact or arrival within this time, the room will be considered resalable.
Telephone Reservations: Reservations made by telephone will be subject to the Non-RefundableCancellation Policy unless expressly requested or agreed with a Standard Cancellation Policy.
We will only cancel your stay if your accommodation is unavailable for reasons beyond our control. We would however endeavor to find alternative accommodation, if we are unable to find suitable accommodation our liability will not extend beyond this point.
Some dogs live with us, for this we are sorry, but we do not accept pets inside the house.
We welcome children. We can offer for small children and by prior arrangement and free of charge, a cot with sheets. Outside the structure, children must always be accompanied by their parents or guardians.
Your accommodation will be available from 2.00 pm on the day of arrival, unless otherwise agreed. We may not be able to accommodate you if you arrive before the agreed time, as we will be busy preparing your rooms. However, it is possible to leave your luggage, pay for your stay and collect your room keys in advance, by prior arrangement. It is highly appreciated if you let us know your estimated time of arrival (a phone call, message or email before arrival).
Please be sure to contact us to let us know if you will be arriving after 11pm, and inform us of your new estimated time of arrival. We do not normally accept guests after 24.00 (by prior arrangement).
We respectfully remind guests that the Magna Grecia Bed & Breakfast offers Bed and Breakfast and is NOT a hotel.
Eating takeaway food in the rooms is not permitted as it can leave odors and can cause stains if the food comes into contact with bedding or carpets etc. We accept that sandwiches and drinks can be consumed in the rooms but care must be taken to avoid spillage etc.
Guests are not required to stay in the room all day.
In accordance with Italian law, a non-smoking policy is in effect at the Magna Grecia b&b. Smoking in the garden, on the balconies or terraces is acceptable. There is a fire alarm system in operation and if this is set off by guests smoking anywhere in the house, you will be asked to vacate the premises and forfeit any monies paid, this is non-negotiable.
Please be careful when you stay in our home. The guest is responsible for any breakages or damages that are caused to the structure or to the rooms. We ask that you report any incidents when they occur. We do not normally charge for minor breakages, but we may charge you for repair or compensation if the damage or breakage is significant.
We assume no responsibility for any damage, loss or injury to any member of your group or any vehicle or property, unless it is proven to have been caused by a negligent act on our part.
